Recién pasó el Detonarte (del cual tendremos una reseña en los próximos días), y nos pareció adecuado hacer que el artista de la semana sea alguien de trayectoria en el mundo del street art ecuatoriano. Todo el mundo sabe quien es Starman Funk, y si no lo sabe, es porque no ha estado metido de lleno en este mundo. Forma parte de MFC Crew, one of the crews with more experience in the country (look at our video about graffiti they did). The early in the illustration, how do you start?

His style, how did you get that?
Many people tell me that he likes my style and tell them which one?. Because in reality I think that there is no consolidated a style yet, still in the search for life, but I think for a young artist is not good to marry without experiencing other style therefore is not my interest to have "my style" even, is the evil of the new artists believe that 1 to 2 years of practice is defined style, but rather are beginning to know their limitations and strengths. Hyperrealism have passed since even the most Naif and Expressionist, depending on the people that surrounded me I could take advantage of their experience and skills (if you have ever played "Getting up" a play by Mark Ecko and Atari, could understand a little more than it is for me the way to define the style, in this metaphor I would like "Trane" and my friends are the Kings of who I using new techniques to become an "all city").

What do you think is the future of the artwork in the country? My
